We’re on the lookout for a skilled Business Analyst – Payroll (€45k - 60k / year) to join our team on a 9-month contract and support the implementation of ADP GlobalView. In this role, you’ll work alongside the Product Owner for Payroll.
You’ll be responsible for understanding business needs, configuring systems accordingly, and ensuring the solution fits both technical and operational requirements. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments and direct reporting to the Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to collect and document both functional and technical requirements for the migration from Sage 100 to ADP GlobalView.
Project Support: Assist the Product Owner in managing the full lifecycle of the integration project, ensuring milestones are met within the 9-month timeframe.
Data Migration & Testing: Take the lead on data migration efforts, validating the accuracy and compliance of all transferred data across payroll, absence, and time-tracking functions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as local tech support, providing updates on progress, risks, and milestones to the Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure transparent communication throughout the project.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless alignment of business processes and system functionality.
Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in workflows, automation, and overall efficiency within payroll and time management.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation including requirements, test cases, user guides, and integration reports.
Requirements
Experience leading at least three end-to-end payroll system implementations, with a strong focus on ADP GlobalView.
Solid understanding of Portugal’s payroll systems and tax laws, and how they relate to ADP GlobalView.
Proven success in data migration, system configuration, and integration testing for enterprise systems.
Knowledge of Workday is a plus but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Capable of working independently, managing tasks effectively, and meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certifications or experience (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Familiarity with HRIS, ERP, or other payroll and HR platforms.
