Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with business teams to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and integration across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud services (AWS, Snowflake, DBT).

Location: Remote (Portugal)
Salary: €50k-€65k/year (preference on B2B contract)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data models for analytics and business intelligence.

• Build and maintain APIs and data pipelines for seamless data integration.

• Monitor ETL/ELT workflows, troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business goals.

• Implement CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in SQL and Python for data engineering. (mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, AWS cloud services, and DBT.  ​​​​​​​(mandatory)

• Experience with data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).

• Familiarity with CI/CD automation, batch/streaming pipelines, and API integrations.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
