Data UI Engineer at Remote Crew

€ 30k - 45k Full-time Hybrid (Lisbon)
AngularData Visualisation

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data UI Engineer (€30k - €45k / year).

You will be responsible for developing data visualisations and interactive components for our products. You will play a critical role in creating and innovating ways to visualise complex data, focusing on web UI development for visualisations outside of embedded PowerBI.

We are not looking for a standard UI engineer who will implement UX designs. We need somebody who understands data and data visualisation patterns and is keen to innovate.

What you’ll do

  • Develop data visualisations for products
  • Create/innovate on ways to visualise the data
  • Focus on web UI development required for visualisations outside of embedded PowerBI
    • Where the data is exposed in a way that requires interactions above what PBI can provide – eg: when views on the data can trigger actions from the user that go back into our system
    • In situations in which the visualisation does not support the use of embedded PowerBI, such as standalone widgets on the workspace apps
  • Create and maintain concrete data visualisation and interactive components

What we’re looking for

  • Proficiency in Angular and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and patterns.
  • Experience with creating interactive data visualizations.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and transformation techniques.
  • Creativity and innovation in data visualization design.
